So, I will be going home to the U.S. in just a little over a month from now! Summer will be burgeoning, and remembering what an amazing and eye-opening season it was for me last year gets me really excited! I'll be living a 20 minute bus ride from the city, and my sister will be interning in Manhattan, so I can only expect to make a weekly visit. I can't wait. And these things make me excited too.

Definitely in the mood to revisit some old favorites (nearly 10 years ago since I discovered this music) like this little ode. I remember happening upon the website last.fm when I was about 16, and finding one song I liked, linking me to a similar band, and this cycle continuing for months. That was the time when I would sneak downstairs to our family's shared desktop Dell, get on aim,stay up late chatting, listen to music, and teach myself a few html basics solely for the purpose of making my Myspace page look exactly as I envisioned it should.

But alas, like I said, it's nearly 10 years later, and when I do get in the mood to listen to the music that influenced me so much at one point, I can't help but get a healthy case of nostalgia.
